Stargazing 3: Wings

In this painting, I started moving away from the uncontrolled watercolor look into a more intentional composition. I was inspired by the symmetry of butterflies and held that imagery in mind as I painted, forming the nebula into a pair of cosmic wings. Comes with a handmade thank-you card and a certificate of authenticity.
